A seamless residence in Rome

Located in a prestigious 1938 building by Marcello Piacentini, this interior design project merges two units into one exclusive residence.

The design draw inspiration from the building’s architecture, creating a fluid and continuous space. Separations are minimized, crafted to maintain harmony while meeting functional needs.

At the home’s heart is a striking veranda, inspired by a greenhouse, with boldred-framed windows, serving as the connection between living spaces. This vibrant area seamlessly blends dining and family spaces into one harmonious flow, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere filled with comfort and style.

The space flows through refined rooms, enriched by materials like Patagonia marble, black marble and resin, achieving a balance of rigor and luxury. Rooms are connected by open portals for fluid transitions. Each space unfolds with parquet patterns and ebony inlays, creating a visual map, with the absence of rugs emphasizing purity.

The master bedroom is a refined space that seamlessly combines” the sleeping area, bathroom “en suite”, and walk-in closet into one elegant continuum.

The bed is flanked by custom-designed nightstands and lamps, created specifically for the space by architect Emanuela Esposito.

Every detail is designed to offer an intimate, relaxing experience, blending modernity with classic design.

The additional bathrooms reflect the same elegance as the master suite, featuring marble surfaces, glass shower enclosures, and gold or matte black fixtures. Integrated lighting enhances the natural materials, while built-in niches add practicality. Each space balances luxury and functionality in perfect harmony.

Light tones, like the pearl gray of natural fiber wallpapers, reflect the precision of Japanese interiors. Ancient Oriental art pieces engage with contemporary design, balancing tradition and modernity. Each space is meticulously crafted with a tailored approach. Oak doors, in various finishes with black frames, mark key transitions within the home, reinforcing the overall coherence and character of the project.

The terraces along the perimeter, filled with tropical plants, honor the homeowner’s Argentine roots, adding an exotic touch while connecting interior and exterior. The atmosphere is both sophisticated and intimate, offering serenity. A stunning window frames a view of Villa Ada’s woods, providing a peaceful escape from the city.
