Villa “Hibiscus” in Sardinia
Architect Emanuela Esposito - Project villa 'Hibiscus' in Sardinia, outdoor veranda view with: gray-colored sofa, two low round tables with wooden base and black-colored iron frame, two rock columns, large black-colored vase with a plant inside and a wrought-iron candelabra. All with a view of the sea.
Architect Emanuela Esposito - Project Villa 'Hibiscus' in Sardinia, living room with two large windows covered by the beige-colored curtain and white-colored marble floor, two sofas made of beige-colored fabric and wooden frame, having white and amaranth cushions. In the center is a stone table.

A house with soft lines in balance with the surrounding rocks that seem to welcome living comfort in primal nature

The client desired a house deeply connected to its location with a clear directive: “no edges, no right angles, a warm and enveloping home!” Embracing this vision, I utilized local materials, crafting with wire and lime reinforcement to form new morphologies. It was like being an architect-sculptor, with an inner energy infusing the materials, bringing the design to life in a fluid, organic way. Windows as skillful telescopes to create a continuous dialogue with the surrounding nature. And the strictly hand-woven fabrics, with linen and cashmere to give a timeless lightness and sophistication. The result is a space that feels both intimately connected to its environment and uniquely welcoming.

Every detail was thought out and built for this house, such as the bronze castings embedded within the powder-pink frisé maple door panels.
